Psychology, psychiatry and art therapy across two trips

Checked against each host organization's own page. Note that Sept 31 doesn't exist, so London is read as Sept 26–30, with Oct 1–2 flagged separately in case you meant the turn of the month.

Montreal

Thu 8 – Mon 12 Oct

This window is empty, and that's the finding rather than a gap in the search. Mon 12 Oct is Thanksgiving. The only item anywhere in Montreal on those five days is a McGill health-sciences-education community meeting on Thu 8 Oct, which is a doctoral comprehensive presentation rather than a psychology or psychiatry talk.

The one genuine Montreal event nearby is the Douglas Research Centre neuroscience seminar with Stephanie Zandee of The Neuro and the Ludmer Centre for Neuroinformatics & Mental Health, Mon 5 Oct, 11:30am, at 6875 Boul. LaSalle. That is three days before the window opens. The Douglas calendar carries exactly two entries for the whole of October, this and Thanksgiving.

Just outside the dates

If either trip can flex
Thu 24 Sep

Moral Injuries in Forensic Settings, BPS Faculty of Forensic Clinical Psychology annual event, in person, 9am–5pm. Two days early.

Thu 1 Oct
Fri 2 Oct

Implementation of AI in Psychological Services, BPS Division of Clinical Psychology, free online workshop.

Sat 7 Nov

BAAT annual conference: Sustaining care, King's College London, Strand. £135 to £255. The main UK art therapy event of the year.

Nov 18–21

Canadian Psychiatric Association annual conference, Le Centre Sheraton, Montreal. Still the substantial Montreal option if the trip could shift.

Both earlier gaps are now closed. The British Psychoanalytic Council's listing was behind a bot block; opened directly in a browser, it added the free Exeter conference on 26 Sept. The Anna Freud Centre's trauma and neurodivergence conference turned out to be 21 April 2026, already past and marked full, so it was never a candidate. The rest of their catalogue is undated online e-learning rather than dated London conferences.

Also: searching "London psychology conference September 2026" returns a wall of ConferenceIndex and AllConferenceAlert listings. Those are predatory conference mills. Excluded on purpose.
